Cathedrals & Churches

We understand that successfully fundraising for our sacred spaces is about so much more than money.

Our team bring first-hand experience in guiding the largest and smallest religious communities around the world to tell their fundraising story and access the support they need to restore, renew and regenerate. Creating innovative and exciting fundraising programmes that foster new connections has also been at the heart of our work with clients for over 30 years. We’ve had the privilege of helping very different places of worship to fund challenging maintenance programmes, build long-term endowments to support music or mission, or even to re-kindle a vital community leadership roles.

"I have worked with Amy for the past year and cannot recommend her highly enough. Amy has added considerable strategic input into a major capital appeal at St Albans Cathedral and she is able to draw on a wealth of experience. Amy is creative, an excellent copywriter and has strong Trust and Foundation experience"
Helen Gray, Development Manager, St Albans Cathedral

"I had no experience as a fundraiser when I began working with Chris at Rochester as his Campaign Assistant. Now 11 years on, I look back and see how important Chris’s experience and knowledge were to my development as a fundraising professional. The lessons that I learnt then, remain important to me now"
Lynne Bax, Development Officer, Rochester Cathedral

"Whilst we have a dedicated team of volunteers at St Paul’s, we did not know how to go about raising the funds we need for our project. The training and mentoring package we’ve had from Amy has been so valuable. Not only have we gained new skills to take forward for the future, but we have benefitted greatly from the specialist knowledge about what is required for applications which Amy has given us."
Rev. Michael Woodcock, Parish priest at St. Paul’s, Witherslack

"As a cathedral serving people across the city, county and diocese, it was vital for us to work with fundraising consultants who understood the challenges of preserving an ancient building and the importance of keeping mission and ministry at the heart of the community. Gifted helped us to keep our fundraising strategy relevant and agile. Andrew’s deep understanding of the Sector made it possible for us to confidently launch the Beacon of Hope Appeal and raise as much as £1 million in just over six months.”
Theo Platt Deputy Chief Operating Officer Gloucester Cathedral
