Formally endowed in 1472 by John Gardyner, the history of Lancaster Royal Grammar School dates back to the 13th century. One of 36 state boarding schools in the country, the school is amongst the finest in the north-west, with a rich tradition of academic, sporting and cultural excellence and a proud record of achievement.

As it approaches its 550th Anniversary, the school has a vision for the future which combines improvements to the school’s facilities with an expansion of its commitment to encourage more young people, in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to benefit from the outstanding education that Lancaster Royal Grammar School provides.

Gifted has been engaged to explore this vision with alumni and parents through an extensive feasibility study. “We're confident that the study will enable the school to deliver an effective fundraising campaign,” says Gifted’s Director, Chris Goldie, “ensuring that Lancaster Royal Grammar School can continue to thrive for generations to come.”

If your school is looking to review its fundraising strategy and realise exciting plans for the future, why not get in touch with one of our Directors and ask for an initial, no-obligations discussion.
