It's a privilege to help clients of all sizes reach their fundraising goals
I’ve always believed in the strength of teamwork and the importance of building effective working relationships with clients and donors.
After graduating from the University of Wales, Swansea, I moved to the USA to do a Masters then later stepped into my first fundraising role with the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society. Once back on home turf, the Third Sector was where I decided to grow my professional skills.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with charities of all sizes and across different sectors. From supporting fundraising departments with large scale events and capital projects, to helping smaller charities increase their corporate, community and major giving. More recently I was Head of Grants and Fundraising for four years with Demential Carers Count, where I built a programme of fundraising activity from the ground up.
I love the challenge of developing new fundraising strategies and corporate plans. It’s a privilege to manage and mentor charity teams and support them in writing bids that secure five and six figure sums. I’m also a happily married mum of one, living in the beautiful Peak District with an extended family of highland cattle, chickens and our dog, Monty.
