Investing in futures
The UK has a long history of supporting institutions who put children and young adults at the heart of their mission. The impact of charities established in the Victorian era, has been enormous. At Gifted, we recognise this sense of collective inheritance and shared responsibility for the welfare of young people.
“Thanks to strong relationships we’ve built and maintained with a number of funders, we have been fortunate to receive ongoing support for our operational costs over recent years. However, when faced with a major capital campaign on top of our annual fundraising, we realised we needed some additional support. Having the extra capacity and specialist advice from the Gifted team at this critical time really made a difference in our ability to progress the capital targets. We also learned more about our fundraising potential, and grew as a team during the process.”
Our approach
For many organisations working hard to support young people, it's often about levelling the playing field; whether that's providing better access to education and training or offering housing security and financial help to those feeling marginalised. Often, there's also a sense of giving a voice to those who may be struggling to stand up for their rights and be heard.
We've been fortunate to partner with numerous charities dedicated to improving the life chances of young people; from undertaking feasibility studies for major capital projects, to carrying out strategic fundraising views and providing periodic consulting support. Our consulting team has also been keen to make youth focused activities a key part of their own philanthropic journey. To find out more about the services we offer, get in touch.
"As a friend of Gifted for many years now, we’ve been grateful to Andrew and the team for the fundraising support they’ve given us at the Youth Adventure Trust. It’s been so valuable to be able to sense check strategic ideas and we’ve really appreciated the one-on-one training they’ve given us around major giving especially."
