Going above and beyond

Charities in this sector often focus on delivering benefits that go above and beyond what's possible with statutory funding alone. They add value in more ways than we can count and have a transformative impact on the communities they serve.

“Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust is one of the country's leading hospital charities. We have some of the very best fundraisers helping us to raise millions towards changing the future of healthcare, starting here in Cambridge and stretching across the globe. The expertise of our team means they know when to call in experts to lend their perspective on major projects. Gifted are one of those critical friends whose strategic support has helped our world class fundraisers to raise millions of pounds towards some of the most important projects happening in healthcare today.”

Shelly Thake
CEO, Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust

Our approach

We recognise that fundraising with Health and Welfare clients is often a collaborative endeavour. Existing partnerships need to be managed and new ones creatively established. As a result, the funding picture can be complex and may necessitate working with multiple stakeholders if a project is to be successful. The rewards though are plentiful: from grateful patients keen to give back, to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments that radically change health outcomes.

Our work in the sector covers a broad range of fundraising consultancy; from the more obvious hospital and hospice fundraising, to supported living, disability awareness, medical research and national and international charities dealing with global healthcare solutions. We offer a diverse range of services, including Strategic Reviews for smaller NHS charities keen to increase their income and Campaign Management for multi-million-pound fundraising projects in major UK hospitals and for international healthcare projects. If you'd like to find out more, get in touch.

"Chris Goldie was recommended to us from other work he had conducted locally.  He did not disappoint.  As a small charity about to set out on an ambitious campaign, it was essential that we received the best advice available for our limited resources.  He became part of the team and nothing was too much trouble.  His research was thorough and the reports which followed clear, authoritative and professional.  Fundraising is not easy at the best of times but his advice has since proved invaluable and set us on the road to success."

Chair, Peninsula Medical Foundation
