Fundraising landscape 2020 | Survey Report
The findings of Gifted Philanthropy’s 2020 Fundraising Landscape Survey are now in.
Designed to help shape a clearer picture of the emerging fundraising landscape after a year of unforeseen change, the Survey Report is available as a downloadable resource on our Resources page.
‘We really wanted to understand more about how the pandemic has impacted Third Sector organisations, so that funders, statutory bodies and consultancies can respond with the right kind of support and guidance,’ says Gifted’s Chief Executive, Amy Stevens.
The Survey Report reveals key data, segmented to illustrate sectoral differences and highlighting the particular experiences of everyone from large Arts organisations and Health Trusts to smaller charities working in a civic or community setting. From exploring the overall effects of the pandemic, to examining strategic learnings and making cross-sector comparisons, the Report presents a helpful narrative around the challenges the Third Sector has faced and the importance of committing to a pragmatic, robust fundraising strategy.
‘We are really grateful to everyone who took the time to respond to the Survey, especially when so many charities have significant numbers of staff still on furlough,’ says Amy Stevens. ‘The findings provide us with a starting point, a position from where we can learn and move forward.’
