Gifted & Link4Life Webinar

Amy Stevens in conversation with Darren Grice, Deputy CEO Of the Arts, Culture, Heritage and Leisure Charity, Link4Life.

Three years in the planning, five weeks into opening and Dippy on Tour North West had already attracted over 115,000 visitors to Rochdale. Families, schools and natural heritage enthusiasts from across the region were lining up to enjoy one of the most interactive, immersive experiences ever to take place in this corner of the North West. Not surprisingly, Link4Life, the Arts, Culture, Heritage and Leisure charity, and partner Rochdale Borough Council were overwhelmed by Dippy’s positive impact on the local community.

Then lockdown hit and the biggest cultural event in Rochdale for generations was faced with closure.

In this inspirational interview, Darren Grice explains how the Dippy on Tour North West team turned a monumental challenge into a unique opportunity, delighting visitors of all ages and demonstrating just how far courage and creativity can take you.
