Gifted Talks Fundraising
Gifted Directors Amy Stevens, Andrew Day and Chris Goldie share their extensive fundraising experience, reflecting on current challenges and emerging opportunities across the Third Sector.
Episode 4 | Evaluating and rating your prospective givers
In this episode, we drill down on the Prospect Evaluation and Rating process that forms an essential part of effective fundraising. Being confident about who to ask, when to ask, and for how much, has the capacity to transform any project's chances of success, particularly when it comes to securing step-change major giving.
The team takes a forensic look at how the rating and evaluation process feeds into a capital fundraising campaign, starting with the all-important first step, the feasibility study. They also share guidance on prioritising the most urgent approaches through a careful assessment of a giver's capacity, interest, access and propensity to make the gifts that will get a campaign over the line. This includes being clear about exactly how much money each prospective giver should be asked to contribute. Watch or listen here.
