Gifted Collaborates With Schools Despite Restrictions

Despite the restrictions of COVID, Gifted has been working with a number of fantastic schools as they plan for major developments.

Despite the restrictions of Covid, Gifted has been working with a number of fantastic schools as they plan for major developments in the years to come. In both the state and independent sectors, we’ve been aware of how much each school has had to face its own unique set of challenges, something which Director, Chris Goldie, also referenced in his recent IDPE webinar on re-igniting major fundraising initiatives as we emerge from the pandemic.

Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, Marlowe | We have completed a comprehensive Feasibility Study, enabling the school to plan for the second phase of an ambitious masterplan of facility improvements ahead of the school’s 400th Anniversary in 2024. We also went on to provide periodic support to the Head and her in-house team as they addressed the fundraising challenge.

Lancaster Royal Grammar School | Like Sir William Borlase’s, LRGS is approaching a major anniversary – its 550th! The school has developed an exciting plan for outreach, academic enhancement and key facility improvements, and we completed a detailed Feasibility Study, focussing in particular on alumni support. Our recommendations are now being implemented and we were delighted to be able to deliver a 3-hour online training session for the Campaign Board.

Royal Masonic School for Girls, Rickmansworth | The School is planning a major capital development and we were really pleased to be asked to conduct a full Feasibility Study to define the school’s fundraising approach.

Bede’s College, Sussex | The School has engaged us to undertake a review of its fundraising operations and identify new opportunities for the future.

Malvern St James School | We continue to provide periodic fundraising support to MSJ as it launches a £4 million campaign to refurbish the library, create Smart Classrooms and fund ‘empty chair’ bursaries.

Godolphin & Latymer |This outstanding London independent school is considering a major capital development and has asked Gifted to take an early look at how it might incorporate philanthropic giving into its project plans.

If your school is looking to review its fundraising strategy, re-start a capital campaign or develop its bursary programme, why not take a look at the services we offer and get in touch with one of our Directors.
